I'm leaving out staves as paladins can't equip them. I'm including polearms there is a chance strength polearms will be added to endgame content in the future.

And yes the inability to transmog between items flagged onehand/offhand/mainhand is supremely obnoxious, but I'm leaving the one handers in regardless of their current handness flags as it may change in the future or be of value to RPers/dressup/dualwielders. (is handness even a word? IDK WHATEVER! I DO WHAT I WANT!)

Paladin Tier 2 raid set which drops from the lvl 60 raid instance Blackwing Lair excluding the legs which from Ragnaros in Molten Core.

The helm used to drop from Onyxia back at lvl 60 but when Blizzard revamped the encounter for level 80s, the helm was moved to Nefarian's loot table. However, the helm dropping from Onyxia does have the same coloring than the actual T2 helm, so if a person just wishes to complete the full looks, they can get the respective helm from 10 or 25 man Onyxia as well.

Just finished a RP and Transmog guide for obtaining and fully accessorizing with best weapons/shields/cloaks to compliment the set.

The Fel Barrier or as magux mentioned above Royal Crest of Lordaeron are the best shields for this set in my opinion. And both are easily obtainable.

I personally love this set, I was planning to transmog it for my warrior.
Note to anybody else planning to use it for their toon that isn't a pally, you can't.
I was so disappointed! Oh well though, off to look for a different set I can actually use.

Something to keep in mind when farming this set is that, unlike most transmog sets, the bracers for this set are actually visible, so there's no sense skipping them just for the sake of saving a slot of bank space. Of course you could just cover up the exposed parts of your arms with a black shirt, but of course with an amazing set like this it's worth going for the complete set.

I've been looking for alternate legplates. I have the legs already but I want to see if I can find a better leg armour model alternative. Heroic Immolation Legplates (T12) actually work rather well with it but I'm the sort of player who can't expect to get heroic T12 any time soon. The version of these legs you can get for 2200 JP doesn't fit as well, but still fits to an extent.

Let me know if you can think of any more.

Now it's obvious this set is bound to the Paladin class. However can they still be used to Transmog gear for other classes?
Can my Deathknight be given this retro paladin look? Or is the 'mogging restricted only to the things I can physically equip?

This little gem goes well with it and is an odd find for a 2H sword. Massacre Sword Also for a cloak if you are an alliance player, you can easily get a very nice looking black cloak for the set with the quest Watching Our Back in the Blasted Lands zone. Netherwane Cloak. Both of these items are uncommon quality items, the sword may be harder to farm up but I have seen it drop twice within Blackrock Spire and use it for a nice looking weapon for my death knight until I can find another.

It's not the easiest cloak to get, nor is it a farmable item, but I found that Mantle of Fury matches this set pretty well. The colors are slightly off, but the design on the cloak is the best I have yet to see in my years of playing, and the design itself also kinda goes with the armor set (in my opinion). I'm using it on my paladin with his T2.

For anyone who wishes to use this look, but with different leggings to appear more mobile, the Lightforge/Soulforge are perfect matches to both versions of this set.

I think the Greatsword of Frozen Hells is actually the best looking weapon for this set. Even though the sword might be pretty difficult to get your hands, it's model looks slightly like The Ashbringer, because of it's long and squarred out model.
I don't know, just my opinion though :-)

I still think the best matches IMHO are Cloak of Unforgivable Sin and Draconic Maul for a 2-hander. The latter's a pain to get, as it's a trash drop. The old days, when one of the best-looking weapons dropped off throwaway mobs!
